With the motto “This is note the end, but a new start”, NESPRESSO launched a campaign about raise awareness about creative ways of recycling, like developing new products from recycled aluminium capsules.

So, we designed and produced a small serie of a pinhole camera using recycled aluminium from coffee capsules. This was a gift from NESPRESSO to the most conscious and recycling customers (1000 numbered units).

This project is a good example of the circular economy solutions and demonstrates that it’s possible to recycle with creativity and, above all, with purpose. Being analog, the sustainability of this camera also lies in the fact that there are no lenses, zoom, filters or any electronic components inside the equipment. Because of its simplicity, the camera can be completely recycled again.
