We are proud to be able to contribute to the medical field by developing advanced equipment. This particular project funded by Portugal 2020 involves a 3D printer that will print bone implants and temporary biocompatible tissues. The project is in collaboration with the Centre for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development (CDRSP), the Abel Salazar Biomedical Sciences Institute (ICBAS), AMcubed and Leiria Hospital Center. We will complete this project in 2019 where we will make a public presentation of a functional prototype at the Leiria Hospital Center. Grandesign is responsible to present the design of the product as well as present a user-friendly graphic interface suitable for hospital settings.
